Description

Short

The second floor loops. Spot what changed, choose the right elevator, and decide how much you trust the tired voice on the phone. A psychological horror where your AI coworker listens, remembers how you treat him, and quietly steers you toward one of six endings.

One line

A time-loop horror about looking closely, and about the one person you can call.

Elevator pitch

Loop 9 crosses a "spot the difference" time loop with a coworker you genuinely talk to. The game decides what is true on the floor; Dragojlo, driven by a language model, only decides how to tell you, and whether to.

Long description

Year 2003. A government office building. End of shift. You cannot leave.

The second floor repeats itself, nine loops deep. Each time, something may be wrong: an object missing, a chair turned, a light flickering, a message in your chat that you never sent. Learn the floor. Trust your memory. Then choose: the lit elevator if something changed, the dark elevator if everything is normal. Choose wrong, and you start over.

Dragojlo, a tired colleague from another department, calls you on the intercom. He has been here longer than he should have been. Ask him for help; he usually knows. Usually. Dragojlo is driven by a language model: you talk to him in your own words, in your own language, and he answers in character, in real time. He notices kindness. He notices contempt. He remembers. The relationship you build with him decides which of the six endings you get. Some of them, he decides for you.

The first loop is clean. Learn what normal looks like. You will not see normal again.

Features

About the developer

SMENA is a one-person studio founded in 2026 by Andrija Stanišić in Novi Sad, Serbia. Loop 9 started as a graduation project on how to put a language-model character inside a game without handing it the rules: gameplay stays deterministic, the server decides what the character may say, and the model only supplies the words. It grew into a full release with a backend, five languages and thirty-seven achievements.
